Based in Adelaide South Australia, Windmill Theatre Co creates unique, contemporary theatre and film for children, teens and families. Each year the company presents its home-grown theatrical work in Adelaide and tours extensively regionally, nationally and internationally. Windmill has won several prestigious awards including for its first feature film, Girl Asleep, and theatre shows Pinocchio, Big Bad Wolf, Grug and the trilogy for teenagers: Fugitive, School Dance and Girl Asleep.
