Alirio Zavarce

Alirio is a multi-award-winning director and theatre maker who has created numerous projects with companies across Australia. He is a founding member of The Border Project and has co-created and performed in all of its productions. Alirio directed, wrote and performed in Trapped (Winner 2011 Graham Smith Peace Trust Award) and Sons & Mothers (Winner 2012 Best Theatre Production, Adelaide Festival Centre Award and Adelaide Critics Circle Best in Fringe Award).
